Frequently Asked Questions

  • Make sure your audio file is in WAV format, and has around 3-6db of headroom. This means the loudest peak should be no louder than -3db. Also make sure you have turned off any plugins on your master out.

  • I offer up to three revisions as that gives us enough opportunities to fine tune the master if necessary. Going beyond three revisions tends to suggest that there is a bigger issue likely in the mix.

  • The annoying answer is: it depends. This is ultimately informed by genre and style. Some songs will want to be pushed to -6 LUFS whereas others will want to retain more dynamics and be mastered to -14 LUFS.

  • Of course! On larger projects, like an EP or Album, I always recommend starting with one song so that we can make sure I’m the right creative fit for your songs before committing to the entire project.

Every song needs a personal touch

This is a promise to you, that I do not use AI to mix or master any of the songs I work on. It is important to me that all realms of creativity remain human - you are hiring me for my ears, not an algorithm. I will help to bring your song to life and I look forward to collaborating with you!
