Price - £35/hr or £200/day
Your music deserves to be professionally recorded, to help lift it from demo to release ready. Through this recording process, I will work as your recording engineer, helping you to achieve industry standard quality, and also as your producer, adding polish with your vision in mind.
What I Offer
I charge £35 per hour for studio time with production included. I also offer a discounted rate of £200 per day for longer sessions. If you want to commit to recording a larger project (say, an album) we can discuss further discounts and guaranteed per-song rates.

A Studio Designed for Solo Artists
The studio was purpose built with the solo artist in mind. The space is cozy and inviting, with access to high quality instruments for tracking, and professional virtual instruments that have become industry standard. We record through high quality pre-amps, guided by a professional producer and audio engineer.
Mixing & Mastering
My favourite projects are always the ones I get to take from recording, all the way to Mastering. At SB Records, I can help guide your project every step of the way, keeping the vision consistent.

A standard recording session is 8 hours (from 10am to 6pm) with a 30-60 minute lunch break. I find that this offers the best balance between maximising studio time and not letting ear fatigue set in.

I have a discounted day rate and an hourly rate. Depending on the needs of your project, we can work out the right price and get you started. I can also work on a per-song basis for larger projects

Mixing and Mastering is not included in the recording sessions as I work on a per song basis for Mixing and Mastering. However, for larger projects, we can always work something out.
Every song needs a personal touch
This is a promise to you, that I do not use AI to write any of the songs I work on. It is important to me that all realms of creativity remain human - you are hiring me for my ears, not an algorithm. I will help to bring your music to life and I look forward to collaborating with you!
