This is an important step that makes sure I can get to mixing your song as quick as possible. Firstly, you want to label all your tracks clearly e.g. “Drums - Hi Hats” or “Vocal - Verse Lead”. Secondly, make sure that you remove any plugins unless they are integral to your sound. Thirdly, export all your audio files as WAVs and make sure they are all the full length of the song. Your song may have some specific requirement, so get in touch and we can discuss how to best prepare your music.

I typically offer up to three revisions. This gives us the flexibility to make sure we get your song mixed just right without endlessly chasing perfection. Mixing almost always involves compromise - not every element of a song can be the star of the show, but they all serve the song in the end.
